Een leven in tekeningen
Wie de tekeningen van Marianne Schipaanboord (Apeldoorn, 1965) bekijkt voelt zich soms een voyeur. Zo dicht naderen we haar intieme emoties over geloof, angst en relaties. Tegelijkertijd toont zij in haar werk ook een humoristische en lichtvoetige kant. Al vanaf haar kindertijd produceert deze autodidactische kunstenares een continue stroom aan tekeningen. Zij is spastisch en kan niet horen en praten maar haar artistieke talent biedt haar een bijzondere manier om met de buitenwereld te communiceren en tegelijkertijd opmerkelijke kunst te creëren.

Voorafgaand kunt u van 10:30 – 11:45 uur de opening bijwonen van ‘Nieuwe Meesters’ in het Outsider Art Museum in de Hermitage.
A life in drawings
We get so close to the most intimate emotions of faith, fear and relationships from Marianne Schipaanboord (Apeldoorn, 1965) that one sometimes feels like a voyeur when watching her drawings. But she shows also a humorous and light hearted side in her work. From childhood on this autodidact visual artist produces a continuous flow of drawings. She is spastic, can’t hear and can’t speak. But her artistic talent offers her an extraordinary way to communicate with the world outside and at the same time she creates remarkable artworks.
Festive opening exhibition Tuesday 3 October 12:00 hrs
The exhibition opens simultaneously with ‘New Masters’ at the Outsider Art Museum in the Hermitage at 10:30 – 11:45 hrs.
